but I still would like to share with you guys these awesome pictures.
Snapped by Alisdair Miller, these photos clearly show how frightening it is to be inside the world’s tallest building, especially at the 158th floor when lightning strikes the city of Dubai. I’m sure they must have a pretty decent grounding system to prevent lightning from conducting the steel structures of the amazingly tall skyscraper.
The Burj Dubai, which was unveiled in a blaze of fireworks on Monday, rises 2,717 feet (828 meters) from the desert and cost a massive $1.5 billion to construct this megastructure.
