Love You Siri [video]

We’re not going to lie, we’re kind of in love with Siri. Whether it’s using the personal assistant to tweet or forcing her to answer absurd questions, we dig the technology and the app.
Jonathan Mann shared his love in the form of a song-of-the-day duet, Siri style.
In the song, Mann sings a number of our favorite

Fantastic Quality in iPhone 4s [VIDEO]

Just how good is the video camera on the iPhone 4S? If a short video from Benjamin Dowie is any indication, we’re going to chalk it up to “amazing.”

Dowie shot the footage just after getting his iPhone 4S and as he writes on Vimeo, “Couldn’t believe it came out of a phone.” Looking at the footage, we’re inclined to agree.

With ColorWare now You Can Add Colour to iPhone 4s

We’re guessing that by now the harsh reality has sunk in: The iPhone 4S is physically more or less identical to its predecessor. If you want to be special, however, there is a way to make your new toy stand out from the rest and shine in many magnificent colors.

4 Million iPhone 4s Sold in the First Weekend

Apple sold more than 4 million iPhone 4S devices in the first weekend on the market, the company announced Monday.
This is a new record for Apple’s smartphone. It took three weeks for Apple to sell 3 million iPhone 4 units, and it took 74 days to sell the first million units of the original iPhone.
For comparison, Samsung has sold 10 million Galaxy S II smartphones in the first five months on the market.

Apple Store Lines:Waiting for iPhone 4S

“What a tourist trap,” muttered one man in a suit to another as he passed the large crowd in front of New York City’s flagship Apple store on Friday morning.

Moments later, a petite woman with gray hair broke from her jog as she passed the barricaded crowd — some of whom had been waiting in line to buy the iPhone 4S since Sept. 27. “Why don’t you get a life?” she yelled.

Introdusing iphone 4s

Apple announced its latest handset, the iPhone 4S, on Tuesday. Over at Apple.com, the company also posted this video showcasing the device and its new features.

Although the iPhone 4S looks almost identical to the iPhone 4, inside, the phone has been totally overhauled.
Not only does it have a faster processor, higher storage capacity and better camera, it can take 1080p video, has a better battery and a redesigned antenna system.

Apple also showcases its latest artificial intelligence feature, Siri, which brings the personal assistant to your handheld phone.

pre-order of iphone 4s reached 1000,000 in a day

Allaying any doubts that the iPhone 4S will be a big seller, Apple announced pre-orders for the new model topped 1 million in 24 hours, which breaks the previous single-day record of 600,000 for the iPhone 4.

In a press release posted on Apple.com — the company’s first public statement since Steve Jobs’s death — Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, said he was “blown away” by the consumer response to the iPhone 4S.

iPhone 5G running in Colours

It’s been a while since we saw anyone add any sort of color other than silver, black, and white, if you consider those colors, to an iPhone concept. Certainly there’s nothing holding these designers back from doing such mockups, but given the designs of the iPhone in reality thus far, it just doesn’t really add up. What we’re seeing here today is a total departure from everything we know about the iPhone specifically, latching on instead to the lineage of the iPod, with it bringing on four fabulous new color chassis and a cool silver as well.

iPad fastest growing games platform as consoles shrink to 40%

The iPad is the fastest growing games platform, developers EA have suggested, with consoles now accounting for just 40-percent of the games industry. “Consoles used to be 80-percent of the industry as recently as 2000″ CEO John Riccitiello told IndustryGamers. ”Consoles today are 40% of the game industry, so what do we really have?” He argues that the rise in casual gaming has meant that the cyclical nature of the games industry is less of an issue.

“Every 5 years you’d see a new console or platform from everybody at about the same time with about the same or similar upgrades or services. You’d sort of harvest it and then it’d cycle back. We got used to it. It’s what seemed normal. But it’s not a particularly smart way to run an industry… bulges in technology investment followed by harvest” John Riccitiello, CEO, EA

Voomote One turns your iPhone into a well organized universal remote

Voomote One
Ok, so the name isn't great, but the Voomote One is actually kinda neat. It's not the first universal remote adapter we've seen for the iPhone and, unlike the Surc IR case, you probably wouldn't want to leave this bulky add-on attached to your handset when not in use.

Apple TV shipping Started

Apple might still insist its TV box is just a hobby, but it's not messing around when it comes to shipping. Sticking to its original schedule, the MacBook maker has started sending out shipping notifications to the great and the good in the USA and Canada, with the earliest promised delivery being September 28.

iPhone 4 coming to China on September 25

Turns out the rumors weren't too far off. After fighting for ages to get the iPhone 3G to Chinese shores, citizens of the aforementioned nation will soon be able to pick up one of Apple's latest (the iPhone 4, if you're keeping count) without reverting to importers and KIRF shops. Starting on September 25th, the iPhone 4 will be available across China in retail locations as well as China Unicom shops, with off-contract pricing set for CNY4,999 (16GB model) and CNY5,999 (32GB model) -- that's around $743 and $892 in greenbacks, respectively. Those looking for subsidization options will need to do some digging once China Unicom starts talking numbers. But hey, at least this one has WiFi!

iLoveHandles turns nano iPods into oversized watches

What happens when Apple introduces a square-shaped new iPod and adorns it with an analog watch face for a lock screen? A whole new cottage industry sprouts up,

FaceTime headed for Mac OS X

It seems more than a little odd to me that Apple hasn't bothered to make FaceTime compatible with its own longstanding desktop video chat service, iChat, but I've at least supposed that it's an inevitability with whatever upcoming Mac OS X update or software bundle that Apple deems appropriate.

The iWatch Is Real

Apple makes computers, tablets, phones, portable media players, TV set-top-boxes, displays and a dozen other things, but to date, it hasn’t made a wristwatch. Oh, wait, actually, it has! It’s called “the new iPod nano.”
