Hi, I’m: A Social Consolidator that Displays All Your Social Networks On One Page

‘Hi, I’m is a newly-launched website which enables users to consolidates all their social networks, such as their Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Digg, Friendfeed and LinkedIn. It’s pretty useful especially for bloggers and web developers since the short-URL-style landing page filled with links to social profiles lets your ’stalkers’ take a quick glance at your web activity all in one location.

It may look quite similar to Facebook’s new acquisition – FriendFeed but no, it’s much simpler than the real-time feed aggregator which collects updates from social websites, blogs and micro-blogging platforms, as well as any other type of RSS/ Atom feed and share them with your friends. ‘Hi, I’m’ is just merely a nice and simple, link-able social landing page for visitors to check out your social web presences. As simple as that.

To start, simply sign up for an account or log-in via Facebook or Twitter. Select a suitable username for your personal home page. For example, visit http://hi.im/jit007 and it would display the list of social networks I’ve added. Next, add in feeds from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Digg, FriendFeed, LinkedIn, Flickr, including links to your blogs, accompanied with a profile picture and a brief personal description. Your ‘Hi, I’m’ page updates automactically whenever you post content of any of your networks. Users can even highlight tweets, videos or posts that are most important to them.

‘Hi, I’m’ is indeed an impressive and unique creation. However, according to its TOS (Terms of Service), “You must be 18 years or older to use this site.” That means I’m violating its TOS if I were to create a profile page as I’m just fifteen? Shouldn’t the folks there lower the limit to around 13 years old just like Facebook?
