Search the Intranet with Google Search Appliance

Google Search Appliance is like a personal version of Google that you can use to search billions of documents, files, and other types of data that residing on your company’s intranet and file servers. It can even index information stored on databases like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Unlike Google.com, GSA helps you search information that’s not on public web but on intranets and ports behind firewalls -- the search interface and ranking algorithms are however like the main Google site.
Google Search Appliance also supports Google Analytics so you can track clicks or how people in the organization interact with the search results. GSA is for large companies but there’s a small version called the Google Mini that can search up to 300,000 documents.
