Called Twit40, this mashup provides a music chart that is prepared in almost real-time using data only from Twitter. There’s an overall popularity chart that lists the hottest tracks from all genres and then there’re genre-based charts in case you only want to know what’s hot in Pop or Rock music.
Twit40 is integrated with YouTube and last.fm so you can listen to the songs or watch the music album inline. The service track Twitter hashtags like #nowplaying and #musicmonday to prepare the charts.
