The Facebook Phone is now in India

Twitter and Facebook phone

INQ is an affordable range of mobile phones that are tightly integrated with social websites particularly Facebook and Twitter.
For instance, you can use the built-in camera to directly upload pictures on your Facebook or Twitter account. You can add your Facebook friends to your phone’s address book and send them messages just like your regular phone contacts.
The phone has an offline mode so if you are out of the network area, you can can still access some features of the Facebook. You can send phones and messages to your friends and they’ll be uploaded to Facebook when you’re back on the network.

All INQ series smartphones have a built-in modem so can browse the web on your computer using the data plan from your cellular operator.
The good news is that INQ Mobiles will be available in India starting this week through the Aircel network. Both the INQ Mini 3G and Chat 3G will sold in India though there’s no mention on the price of the phone.
If you are not on Facebook or Twitter, the INQ mobile phone may still appeal to as the India version will have widgets for both CricInfo and Orkut – they are among the mostpopular websites in India.
