Youtubian Bookmarklet Simplifies YouTube

youtube.thumb
If you find the current YouTube video page too cluttered and messy, then you ought to give this useful bookmarklet a try. The Youtubian bookmarklet is a super minimalist, lightweight enhancement kit for YouTube that turns the video sharing platform into a simple yet powerful single-page.
Youtubian bookmarklet (drag it to your bookmarks bar).

Simply drag the bookmarklet into your web browser’s bookmarks bar, navigate to a YouTube video page and click on it—the original video page will then reload and transform to a less cluttered version, but still retaining YouTube’s functionality. It even adds some new features on the sidebar such as download links for users to download the current video in High Quality or High Definition. The “More from user” videos and “Related videos” sections are being grouped together with “Comments” as tabs right at the bottom of the video itself. If you’d like to access to the home page or your account, you can always click on the “Expand” link at the top of the page to revert it back to the original YouTube page.
The Youtubian bookmarklet is based on Javascript and YouTube’s data API and works well in all popular web browsers – Firefox 3, Chrome, Safari 3.2, and Opera 10. It’s simple and the “Download video” feature is a plus! Try it yourself now!
