USB Typewriter Will Make Your iPad Feel Ancient [VIDEO]

Looking for a USB keyboard device to accompany your iPad? If you want fast typing, you should probably look elsewhere, but if you’re the pipe-smoking, monocle-wearing type, you might want to check out the USB typewriter.

The name really says it all: It’s a manual typewriter with a USB connection, and since it’s handmade, each one is different; you can even send your own typewriter to project author Jack Zylkin and have it made USB compatible. The price, however, is quite steep, ranging from $400 – $500 for a finished product and $75 for a do-it-yourself kit.
