Incarnate Helps You Find Your Avatars Around The Web And Reuse Them

Developed by VisitMix, Incarnate is a useful online tool that helps users to find their avatars around the web. Simply punch in your username or e-mail address in the search field provided and push the “Find Me” button. The site will then automatically look for avatars associated with the username on popular social networks such as Facebook, MypSpace, Twitter, YouTube or Xbox Live. The main benefit of Incarnate is that you need not to upload a new avatar whenever you sign up for an account on a service or leave a comment.

However, this isn’t it. The coolest feature Incarnate offers is its simple yet impressive Wordpress plugin, which integrates into your blog comments. It allows your readers to associate themselves with an avatar they’ve already published on the web. This plugin works differently from Gravatar, which requires your to register your e-mail with the Gravatar before your avatar will be displayed every time you post a comment with the same e-mail address. With this plugin, I believe users would be more likely to use an avatar, which would result in fewer “default” avatars.
